A hidden gem in town! We order lamb rack & it was very delicious, the lamb is so juiciness of the lamb keeps lingering in my mind to ask to for more. The eye fillet of beef is just ok, I would prefer the lamb over beef. We also ordered kid’s meal of Pan seared fish with french fries, the kids love it.

The food here is just amazing. We stayed at the sudima hotel for 2 nights while away for business. Simply Wow! Best hotel food I have ever experienced and the service was outstanding. Thank you for a very enjoyable experience.
A Google ad led to a last-minute change in bf’s birthday dinner plans. He cancelled his reservation in another restaurant and replaced it with this one. We normally would not say this, but we are grateful to that sponsored post. 😅 This restaurant is only over a year old, so it is not included in most must-eat in Christchurch list. Though I am pretty sure that it will be featured in a lot of food blogs and magazines in a year or so. This place does not scream vegetarian, but they sure can work with vegetables like no other. Apart from the fresh blue cod (I have a weakness with seafood 😬), everything we ate is vegetarian. All the dishes served were bang on. But if we really have to choose the best, it will be the heirloom carrots with cauliflower liquorice puree. So many flavors going on with every bite that then ends with a surprising but pleasant spiciness. The service was not only impeccable, but the staff also exuded genuine warmth. Lastly, I will always remember this resto as the one that opened my eyes to the wonders of a good port (fortified wine).
